My name is Pat Latham and I am going into high school. I live in Alabama near Birmingham. I have a twin brother and a younger brother. When I was two years old I was diagnosed with Alopecia. Alopecia is a disease where your hair falls out. Then I was diagnosed at age 11 with Type 1 Diabetes. Type 1 Diabetes is when your pancreas stops producing insulin so you have to monitor your glucose level and give yourself insulin.
